Cinema and perfumery - are two kinds of art, accessible to everyone. They have their own internal rules and canons. Their history starts from classical samples up to vanguard products, great creators, their followers and rebels.
Cuir de Russie (Chanel), Narcisse Noir (Caron) or Mitsouko (Guerlain) - are the masterpieces of great mute cinema of 20-30s. These are the tragically or melancholic actors, using instead of words a mimicry, plastic of gesture and movement. They are close not only because they are coevals. In them there is a bearing of success, charisma and fabulosity. Sweet-bitter Mitsouko, as well as more womanly aromas Jean Patou (Amour Amour, Adieu Sagesse, Que Sais-Je?) for some reason reminds of great and sad movies of that time.
The first man’s aromas of 60th years are Vetiver (Guerlain), Eau Sauvage (Dior), Balafre (Lancome), Chanel pour Monsieur, Eau Neuve (Lubin). It was a new wave - so called “nouvelle vague” of French cinema. ?? we shall forget about followers of a new wave - French Lover and Le Parfum de Therese (Frederic Malle).
Recollecting movies-legends, we shall note three parts of “Lord of the Rings” and three man’s aromas from Christian Dior (Eau Noire, Cologne Blanche, Bois d ` Argent).
It is necessary to mention the Indian cinema - musicals about love and old history of the Arabian aromas with accents on a rose, sandal tree, patchouli plant and musk.
